I am tackling the 6 pack with my two teenage daughters, Cassie 16 and Hannah 14. We left San Diego at 4:30 AM, reaching Chantry Flats parking lot around 7:15. We were laced up and on the trail by 7:30. We went up via Sturtevant Falls. What a beautiful hike. So glad we signed up for the 6 pack, I may never have done this hike otherwise. The creek and waterfalls were full and noisy, everything was green. We had been warned that bugs can be a real issue, but this early in the season it wasn’t a problem. We hit the summit a little after 11::00 and ate lunch in the shade of the cafe awning (the cafe was closed because it was a week day!). We then headed down Mt Wilson trail to do a loop. Watch out for poison oak, it was everywhere on this side! We were back at Chantry Flats by 3:30PM then hit the Souplantation in Arcadia!
