Perfect weather for the first hike of this challenge. Being a new hiker; I had NO idea how much you cleanse your mind with the beauty of these trails. I have a new appreciation and truly understand the cliche “take time to smell the roses” or what a real “babbling brook” looks like. What a privilege to have the ability to hike and enjoy nature! To our fellow hikers…thank you! This is the kindest community. To reach the top of the summit; completely drained and be welcome by a fellow hiker saying “Welcome to Wilson” was absolutely reassuring that the hiking life is for me! (And Stacie)😊 Until our paths cross again…be well all!
