Peak San Bernardino
Group N/A
Trailhead Angelus Oak

We started this hike pretty late because we had to wait for the station to open to pick up a permit. There were only 3 permits left so we teamed up with another group. This was actually really great because we got to hike with some very nice people. They were also doing the challenge. The weather was pretty cool during this hike but it was probably my worse hike out of the 6. I was very slow at the top and felt my legs did not even want to move. I assume this is what they mean when they say you hit the wall. It was long and we felt it was never going to end. However, this trail had one of the best view; beautiful mountain landscapes and fields. We were fooled a couple of times before hitting the actual peak.

Coming down was also a long and never ending hike. The switch-backs at the end were long before each bend. We didn’t get down till the sunset.
