Peak Mt Wilson
Group N/A
Trailhead Chantry Flats

We have not hiked for awhile and out of no where I decided to get a few folks together to do this challenge. We did not register for the hike and intended to just do the challenge for fun without being part of So Cal Hikers. We started this hike with 6 people. It was a warm day but not too hot, but also no windy. Considering that we have not hiked for some significant time, starting off with such a long hike was probably not the wises thing to do.

The trail was a steady incline which should be easy. However, shortly after we started I can feel my legs getting tired already. I would like to blame it on elevation but it seem pretty low in altitude to blame that. So let’s just say, out of shape. It felt like it was never ending especially when we got to the check point that indicated another 2 miles. Heading to the peak the trail pretty much consist of mostly incline. We were exhausted when we got to the top; one person was cramping up. This is when I sort of question how we would do the next one. Nonetheless, we completed this hike, exhausted, hungry and very sore the next day. Stay tune for the next hike.
