To all the people who kept asking us, “are you sure that little dog can make it to the top?” Yes, he did!! To the top of Mt. Baldy at 10,064 feet elevation and all the way back down all by himself because my dog is amazing.
The weather was great until we started descending down. It was really hot, and my pup and me had to stop in the shade to cool off a lot. I was very glad that I carried extra water, mostly for training purposes, but I was able to cool him off by dumping water on him.
Overall, we both enjoyed the hike and the beautiful views. Peak 2 of 6 done, 4 more to go!
