Trailhead Marion Mountain trail

Woke up early for this hike. I started at 6am. The trail was smooth at the beginning then alot of climbing and all sort of different size rocks. It was nice and fresh outside since we started super early. This time I had some new comfortable hiking boots along with 2 new hiking poles and lots of snacks and water . I was prepared. This hike took me and my friend so long. The marion trail was very steep and difficult. I felt like it was never going to end. My feet were not hurting and I was excited to reach the summit. When I reached the top i found a big rock and I took a 30 min nap. On the way down was pretty easy until my knee started giving up. Almost half ways, my right knee started hurting and I stalled a few times. It started getting dark and i was not close to being done. I was going very slow, using my pole as a guide. Walking down I find this beautiful heart shaped rock. I felt the love and I pushed even harder. I held the rock and I didn’t give up!
