Perfect Friday for a challenging but gorgeous hike. This trail is no joke, it kicked my ass but I loved every second of it! There’s a little bit of snow still on parts of the trail but nothing trekking poles can’t handle, spikes weren’t necessary. We hiked around a large patch of snow since it appeared to be the safer route, but there were visible tracks in the snow to follow so it’s passable either way. This was such a tough hike for me and a first with the elevation, so I was happy that I handled the elevation smoothly with just a little bit of light headedness and “heavy legs”. We had the summit all to ourselves, now is a great time to hike this peak!! 💪💪💪
