I found the hike to be challenging, but now I know what we need to train for on the next hike. I went with a group of friends, so it made the hike fun. The trail conditions were nice and it was a warm day. I felt good, but tired by the end of the hike. We did the hike in a little over 6 hours, but we stopped for about 1 hour at the peak to take photos and each lunch.
Looks like you had a beautiful day for Mt Wilson, Jenna!
Wilson is interesting. It’s not as tall or “peak-like” as some of the others in the Six-Pack, but the length and vertical gain are a great test, like you said.
Yes, now the girls and I know how to train to prepare for the next peaks.
