Peak Mt Wilson
Group Adventure Rebels
Trailhead Chantry Flats

Hi, my name is Aiden. I am 9 years old and hope to be the youngest to complete the 6 Pack of Peaks this year! Last weekend I bagged Mt. Wilson with my Dad, my friend Samuel (who is also 9) and his dad, oh… and my stuffed Monkey! We had lot’s of adventures and fun, but it was also really hard! I have cried some! But I made it to the top. Sturtevant Falls was very, very awesome! Then Sturtevant Camp had a zipline, a giant swing, and jugglers. My friend and I had lots of fun there! Just before Sturtevent there were millions of lady bugs, all over, that must have just hatched! The section of trail above the camp was really hard! Once we got to the top my dad got out the root bear he brought for us, it was really good. We stayed at the top for a while checking out the observatory and having a sandwich, which was really good. Then on the way down my dad spotted a baby rattler on the trail, good thing he saw it! We camped under some oaks on the old Toll Road just before you turn off it onto the normal trail. The mosquitos were CRAZY, there were sooo many of them. But the city lights looked really awesome. We got up and hiked out, but took a wrong turn at the big wooden bench and ended up and Sierra Madre. We got to baby-sit a desert tortious while the Dad’s worked out a way to get our car to where we were. It was a really long but I enjoyed it. I am excited to do other peaks! Good Bye, hope you liked my story -Aiden
