Surprisingly warm conditions out there given a 30-degree forecast. Spikes were sufficient to make it to the top, but lots of hard ice on the trail so be careful.

What route(s) did you take up and down, Denis?
Hi Jeff, we didn’t risk it by taking the Devil’s Backbone since it’s icy on the trail so just took the Ski Hut trail up and down to make it safer on ourselves.
Hi Denis, did you take the normal route up Ski Hut or climbed straight-up the bowl? Thank you.
Hi David, we took the normal route. If you take the Bowl, make sure to wear crampons, ice axe and helmet, plus check that snow conditions are favorable before you go.
