I would recommend getting to the parking lot EARLY!! We were there before 6am and we got the last parking spot. It was packed. It was a beautiful day even though it was a little warm, wear sunscreen!! Very busy trail and really rocky also. Once you gain some elevation though the views are incredible and at the summit….WOW!! I carry a 3 liter bladder in my pack and I ran out of water at the very end so bring extra water if you can. At some areas the bugs were really bad so bug spray is a must. We saw thousands of lady bugs on some rocks and that was really cool, I’ve never seen anything like that before!! The trail was really easy to follow, especially because it was so busy. I would definitely do this hike again!
