We were anticipating that this trail would be chilly, especially near the summit. We were wrong! The exposure on the trail made it warm, but comfortable. Watch out for poison oak in the canyon near the stream. Once you pass the saddle, the trail get pretty narrow, even for a single track. On the switchbacks, there was a bit of snow, but nothing major. The trail is complete scree in the lower switchbacks on the final ascent, so take your time!
