This was the third hike of the six pack of peaks challenge. Weather, trail conditions were great. After taking Devil’s backbone trail, had a nice breakfast at the cafe and then ascended the peak. I have hiked Baldy last year and knew what to expect. This helped to enjoy the hike more. There were little bit of patches of snow up the mountain but nothing on the trail. While returning met a 65 years old female hiker and I thought I can easily beat her but she beat me. Her energy and passion made motivated me to go after the remaining 3 peaks..
In the end I was a happy hiker to be halfway into the Six Pack of Peaks challenge.
