After finally graduating school I’ve had free time and decided to give Cucamonga Peak a shot on my Friday off from work! Got to the trailhead at 6:30am and was one of only 3 people there headed up including a 5 year old kid who had already hiked Mt. Wilson and Baldy! Made it to the summit in just under 3 hours and enjoyed the view at the top for while. As I was coming down I saw a few more groups on the way up. Near the mid point I nearly stepped on a large rattlesnake crossing the trail which sure woke me up! It was definitely a fun way to start off the weekend.
