It was cold and rainy. Long hike, rain started about an hour in and kept us cool, then made us cold. Did the extra mile for the waterfall and the extra mile on the way home. Spotted a deer pretty early in. So crazy cold and foggy at the top. Hot chocolate and warm pretzel roll at the snack stand were delicious and cozy. Complete white out. Little tricky finding the trail head to come back down in the fog. Rain/cold/fog did keep the bugs away! 16 miles, 9 hours. 1 down, 5 to go.
