What we thought was going to be a cold and blustery day turned out to be absolutely gorgeous. Coming from San Diego, we need to rely on the weather forecasts available, which are often off a bit. Clear blue sky with a light breeze and cool temps. Perfect! I haven’t been on Baldy in a few years and I don’t remember this trail as ever having had so many people on it; however, everyone was so friendly and talkative that it made for a superb hike. Great day. Looking forward to the remaining hikes.
