We started abouuuuut 640 and it was chilly and perfect 🙂 So many people but thankfully the herd thinned out considerably at that west split that starts the climb. Most seemed headed to the falls. Vicki and Jessica are very considerate, generous hike partners! “You’ve got this girl” such an encourager Vicki is and Jessica was wonderful at not making me feel like the old chick LOL! I felt great, just taking a couple minutes here and there on the Killer Switchbacks. The other two ladies had to feel even better since they were like 20 steps ahead of me half the time 🙂 This is my 4th time on this trail and I love it more each hike. The number of waterfalls after all our weather is delightful and the views of snow-capped Baldy, San B’do/Gorgonio and San Jacinto were breathtaking <3 I'll do it again before taking Cucamonga!
It was so much fun hiking with you two!! Mt Wilson was even better the second time around ???? Pics came out great! Can’t wait to tackle Cucamonga next with you ladies! ????
Natalie and Jessica, you are both awesome, great hiking partners. It has been great staying in touch, and I look forward to hearing all about your TCT after my return from EBC. Then… we can continue our quest. Cheers, keep smiling and keep hiking!
