I was a little concerned about the length of this hike. Not that I wouldn’t have the stamina, but that so far I’ve been a bit off the posted times. I wanted to start at 6, but didn’t until 7. I was hoping for a max of 12 hours and came in under 11. That’s okay. Only saw about 12 people all day. Toward the end I figured I was the last one coming down the mt. I was about half way down at 3pm when I met three guys going up.
The view from the top was cool. If I’m not mistaken there was Baldy to the West, and San Gorgonio and San Jacinto the East. Bummer that the plaque was missing from Washington’s monument.
