Peak Mt Baldy
Group Just my hubby 🙂
Trailhead Manker Flats

The trail conditions were dry, with lots of loose gravel, especially on the Devil’s Backbone portion of the hike. The weather was sunny and in the 60’s. The peak was a little windy and cool, with some snow still left on the ground. I felt the most difficult portion of the hike was the Devil’s Backbone. The elevation got to me a little, but even stopping twice at the lodge (way up and way down) to use the rest room and get water, and our stops to take pics and rest along the way, we still finished the hike in 6 hrs and 24 minutes. The way down, although hard on the knees, only took us 2 hrs and 20 minutes. I am so happy to have gotten to the summit successfully 🙂
