Another day on Mt. Baldy

Weather was great. Minimum trail traffic. Went up the backbone and down the bowl to the ski hut. Collected a bit of trash at the summit (all cliff bar wrappers for some reason). Met several hikers along the way. A few did not seem to be prepared for a safe hike. The worst was a man near the summit that only heald a bear empty 12oz gatorade bottle, but I digress. Also at the summit I found an American Flag which had been erected on a large branch. The branch had been been broken at the flag was significantly damaged. I collected the flag so it could be retired. There was still a smaller flag flying at the summit.
