Hello So Cal Hikers,
If anyone is interested I plan to hike Cucamonga Peak on March 12. However, trail conditions will dictate whether I go to the peak or not (I can always go another day). If there is any sign that micro spikes or crampons are needed, I plan to turn around. If possible I will then take the Three T’s trail and hike to Timber Peak before heading back out Ice House Canyon. I am a strong hiker physically, but have zero experience hiking with micro spikes and crampons. I’d welcome anyone who cares to join me.
