Greetings, fellow SoCal hikers and fans from around the world! I hope during this holiday season you get a chance to unplug and reconnect with the people who matter most — your family and friends.
This holiday, I’ll be taking a couple weeks off and traveling to the east coast. I’ll be visiting my girlfriend’s family in Maryland (just outside Washington DC), then traveling to NYC to visit my son Dan. From there, we head up to Maine to visit my son Joel and his growing family. Can you believe it? One granddaughter already and a grandson on the way!
I want to thank all of you who have encouraged me over the past year to hike further and stronger than ever in my life. Thanks to everyone who posted a comment here at SoCal Hiker, or retweeted or emailed with advice, encouragement or questions. I really appreciate the connections I’ve made and the opportunity to grow as a result.
I’m looking forward to sharing new adventures in 2011, and hearing about yours as well. See you all again in the new year!
