When we hiked, we left at around 5:30 in the morning so we could start the hike by 8 AM. The weather was moderately cool and we brought around 3 liters of water for hike. Unfortunately, we arrived at the Ranger Station in Mill Creek 5 minutes after it opened and by the time we got into the station, they were giving out their last permit. Fortunately, we were able to add onto someone else’s permit. Beautiful hike!
