Started at the ski area parking lot and then headed up their dirt road to the fire road to Baldy notch. Devil’s backbone was windy so it was quite challenging. Winds continued all the way to the summit and down the other side. Could not find ski hut trail and ended up on the Old Mt Baldy trail to the village. Spring conditions up there folks. 70 mph winds on the ridge headed toward the village plus 1′-2′ snow in places making the trail hard to follow. Had the summit all to myself! What a day! 2 down, 4 to go.
