Hiked with my brother. Very beautiful – everything was super green and the light coming through the trees was stunning. Weather was lovely, cool in the shade and just a little warm in the sun. The big killer was the bugs on the ascent. I was very grateful for a bandana over my ears, but would have loved a proper bug net hat! PB&Js and a banana split at the top made for a perfect half way point, and the way back down was long but easy.
