Trailhead Icehouse Canyon

We started hiking around 6:30am to try and avoid the heat, but definitely wish we left earlier! The trail was beautiful and well maintained up to the saddle. After the saddle, there was some erosion in some spots, but nothing too bad! We got to the top around 10am (if I recall correctly) and hung out for 45-60 minutes. We started to really feel the heat on our way down and it seemed like getting back to the car took forever!!!

Definitely bring TONS of water if it’s supposed to be hot and humid! By the end of the trail, I finished all of my 2l of water and a frozen gatorade!!!
