Well, we were expecting a hot weather hike and we were rewarded with a 71 degree beautiful day to hike up Mt Baldy as a two day back packing trip. We started in the mid-morning and reached the summit at about 4:00 PM, pitched camp, cooked dinner, and watched a great sun set. It was awesome to wake up on the summit, step out of the tent, and marvel at the beauty around us. If you haven’t watched the sunrise on the summit, you may want to take the time to add it to your list……………….
