It was us versus Mt. San Jacinto all day into the night! GPS took us in circles and we didn’t hit the trailhead till after 8am. Didn’t think the late start was a big deal, but it was. It took us eight hours to summit 🐢🐢 (we took our sweet time, met some awesome hikers along the way). We were prepared to hike a little past sundown, but it sure was scarier (and darker) than expected. Thank God we made it to the car. All in all, another memorable experience. Views were probably the most beautiful I’ve ever seen out of the five I’ve bagged already. Five peaks down, one more to go!!
