This hike was pleasant, but it was kind of steep, and it was a little repetitive because of all of the switchbacks. I much preferred it to hiking up the Palm Springs side, because of the shade and lack of scolding heat. The view from this peak lives up to its reputation, and the snow shack nearby is a thorn in my PCT nostalgia. Will climb again
