Great first hike for the 6 pack of peaks challenge. Visited the waterfall (on accident…missed the trail sign) and it was worth it. As others reported the bugs were annoying and the last bit wears on but as always the elation from making it to the top always carries the day. The turkey sandwich at the Cosmic Cafe tasted even better for the effort to get to it. On the way down some hikers headed up reported a bear on trail. We kept our eyes peeled but no sign as we got back to Chantry Flats without issue. A great day!
