We signed up for the six pack of Peaks challenge in January. Mary broke her ankle in February and it looked like all hope was lost for us completing the hikes – but in fact a big part of Mary’s rehab has been building strength with local walks and then tackling the Peaks. Today we finished the six pack – conquering San G. We are not quick but we sre persistent. We were on the trail at 4:15a.m. and off the trail by 6:30p along the fantastic day. BTW we turned off our head lamps in the middle of the wash and were treated to amazing stars!
