We had a great day. The weather broke it was not too hot. Still lots of water crossing the trail approaching Little Round Valley. We spent the night before the hike in Idylwild at the Silver Pines Village – nice clean, quiet, newish room. We enjoyed a leisurely dinner at Gastrognome and turned in early. We were on the trail by 6 am and done by 6pm (We are not fast but we are persistent).
