Trailhead Marion Mountain

We started early and the weather was perfect. We were constantly shaded and even when the trail became exposed to the sun it never felt very hot. The last couple miles were a little annoying with the seemingly endless switchbacks, but the scramble to the top and the views once you get there are very worth it. That scramble really is a scramble to the top over several massive rocks, depending on which way you decide to journey up. The trail itself is well maintained, picturesque, and had plenty of rest points for those that like to take it slow. During your breaks, look carefully around you and you may spot deer and other wildlife. Definitely a challenge but well worth it!
