Peak San Jacinto
Group N/A
Trailhead Marion Mountain Trailhead

I always remember San Jacinto for its rocky peak and I always somehow end up scrambling to the top through a different route than what most other people would take and what I would usually use for going down the trail.

The hike this year was definitely slower than last year. I don’t know if it was my lack of sleep or cross training but my head was aching throughout the hike. I took an Advil and took a nap at the peak. I guess high-altitude sickness finally got to me that day.

Nonetheless, I was grateful for still being able to finish that hike since I still have San Gorgonio to do and that would not be encouraging if I did not finish San Jacinto.

San Jacinto is one of my favorite hikes since I like relatively shorter but challenging hikes rather than the lengthy ones (like San Bernardino and Wilson).
