I woke up at 230am and started my hike at 345 am. I’ve dome this hike before, infact, this is the hike where I met my hiking group, Hike Beyond the Hills and they invited me to go with them to the peak. I was not aware of a challenge or of this peak, I was just recommended icehouse canyon to the saddle. This hike change things for me. Nearing my mother’s 2 yr anniversary of passing, I needed to get away, talk to God, or whom ever is out there. Remember my mother. Make that peak, take a deep breath and remind myself of the beauty this world has to offer, why we go on and fight on a daily basis. I love this hike for opening up my eyes to what is out there and challenges I can overcome in life. Perfect timing for me!
