Trailhead | Angelus Oaks |
This is by far the most beautiful hike I have done of the six pack of peaks. The trail is nice and not hard to follow. The scenery is well worth the trip. Bring bug spray along if you tend to get bitten. We were lucky to be able to get our permit the morning of our hike; however, the permits go fast. I had to wait in line one hour. We met up with another group and hiked with them. It was awesome! Also met a few other SoCal Hikers on the trail. There are a few steep inclines but not too bad. We are slow hikers, it took us about 10 hours, not including rest breaks! If you haven’t done this one you are in for a surprise of the beauty. When you get close to the top, the trail splits and you need to go right and take the steep uphill for about 100ft (estimating) this part of the trail is not marked. Oh! We saw a deer too, it was resting under a shade tree!!! Keep your eyes open!
Enjoy!
EPIC HIKE NO DOUBT!!! Once again a BIG THANK YOU for taking me and allowing me to join you on this adventure :>
