Peak San Gorgonio
Group N/A
Trailhead Vivian Creek

I imagined Gorgonio to be this scary hike, but it was not as bad as I expected. The weather was perfect. It took us about 13 hours roundtrip and that’s with one hour hanging out at the summit. It was annoying that the Biola University Baseball Team was there on the same day. Some of the kids were bumping loud music on the trail, which was quite aggravating. My body felt pretty good up until the last two miles. However, the altitude definitely got to me and this was the first time I ever took medicine to combat a headache during this challenge. I forgot to bring my headlamp but thankfully had a flashlight on my backup battery. Beautiful scenery throughout the hike. I liked this hike better than Mt Baldy.
