This hike was great but very long! In the morning the weather was somewhat brisk so it made the ascent a little easier. The beginning was a little steep but the elevation gain on rest of the hike was gradual. It took about 9 hours to complete with an hour total worth of breaks. There was two rangers hiking checking for permits so make sure you bring your permit with you. This was my last hike and I had a great experience completing this challenge that I will never forget. This year I completed the challenge in 4 months, while next year I will shoot for 6 weeks!
