The Birth Of The Alpine Gamer

September 16, 2017 By Aiden & Alon Wiedenman Leave a Comment

Peak San Gorgonio
Group N/A
Trailhead Vivian Creek Trail

Hi, I’m Aiden Wiedenman ( AKA AlpineGamer ) and I just finished MT. San Gorgonio and I want to tell you a little bit about it. So I started off doing a video for my YouTube channel. When I did my video I talked about what I was doing when I was going to do my next video, etc. Once we got to the San G Wilderness sign we stopped and took some photos. When we got Vivian Creek we saw a tree that got struck by lightning and formed a big split in the tree. My friend and I stood in the split and got some photos. When we got to camp, we refilled our water bladders and set up camp. We got up early the next morning and packed our bags and headed to the peak. Once we got to the peak, lots of people were asking about our dog Mysti, me and my friend. Once we got back down to camp we unpacked our bags and went to High Creek Falls. When we got to the falls we stopped and played and got some photos. When we got back to camp we cooked dinner and went to bed. We got up early and cooked breakfast and packed our bags and hiked out.

And while I started with trails in Southern California, I’ve expanded across the west. We hike each trail to create these guides, sharing practical advice on gear and outdoor skills. Read more…
