Peak San Gorgonio
Group N/A
Trailhead Vivian Creek

Oh wow, Gorgonio was quite a thing. We started at first light and ended doing the last 2 miles in the dark with our headlamps, singing the whole way down. The hike wasn’t too bad until we got to 10,000ft, after that our pace became as slow as molasses. It was so worth it though. It was perfectly clear and sunny with a cool breeze, and the surrounding land was clear as day. I swear we could see all the way to mexico, and out to the ocean! The trail was in great condition. We slipped a few times out of fatigue, but all in all a really adventuresome hike that left us feeling like we really accomplished something huge!
