We stayed the night before the hike in a cabin at Angelus Oaks Lodge. Best idea ever! We were so well rested and ready to try out this crazy endeavor. The hike was as I remembered it, difficult but somehow enjoyable the whole way. It’s a difficult and grueling hike every time, but always a sense of accomplishment as well.
