Jess was an AWESOME hike buddy and I’ll take to the trail with her again & again! The sun was smiling on us to begin but as we approached the saddle WOW that wind was cracking like a WHIP!! Thank goodness for layers in our packs 🙂 After leaving the saddle the views started to tease us and THEN! We had to traverse a stretch of snow, little nervous. Reaching the peak was pretty exhilarating (off came the layers) I didn’t want to leave and we did stay much longer than we intended <3 I'm excited to return to Cucamonga Peak and until then, onward & upward to Baldy!!
I loved this hike!! Can’t wait for tomorrow, so excited for Mt Baldy ????????????
