This was by far the easiest to follow, well maintained trail with excellent views during the majority of the hike. The weather was on the warm side, but doable with my favorite hat, sunscreen and plenty of water. Hit a wall at the monument, but after a short break and meeting a few friendly hikers on their way down that offered encouragement, I forged on. I very much enjoyed hiking the majority of the trail by myself.
