Second Times a Charm

Beautiful weather! This was our second attempt after a failed first try in which we started way too late and it was pouring rain. We were concerned that we wouldn’t make it up and back during daylight. Having learned our lesson, we started much earlier, leaving at 7am. Crowds were already in full, but it thinned out on the way up. The streams and waterfalls were higher than I’ve seen them before. There was still snow on the ground as we got higher and slippery at certain spots, but overall, really a perfect day! A good start and I’m realizing, I need to be in better shape as we progress…
