Peak Mt Baldy
Group N/A
Trailhead Ski Lift Parking Lot

For our second attempt at hiking Baldy, the weather was much better! First attempt was March 25 when there was more snow on the trail still, but this time it was all clear. Our group took the service road up from the ski lift parking lot to the lodge, took a break, and then continued up the trail along Devil’s Backbone and across the Baldy Bowl. It was super windy on the south side of the mountain and at the summit, but very clear with great views. Stopped at the top for about an hour, waiting for the rest of the group to catch up (split into different paced groups), ate lunch, and then headed back down for a celebratory beer at the lodge. Overall, 100% better than the first time!
