We saved Mt. Wilson for last since it was the farthest drive for us. We started at Chantry flats at 7 and the parking lot was already full. The leaves are already changing color making for some great pictures. We did the little detour to go to Sturtevant Falls. The thing I didn’t like with this hike was that it ends at the observatory where there are people who just drove up there so it was anticlimatic and there was no dedicated spot telling you it was the peak with the elevation sign for pictures. The observatory was still cool and there was a little museum with pictures. I loved that this hike was a loop so you saw different things coming up and down. Beautiful hike!
