It was a cold morning as it felt like definitely like fall, which was a good thing! The trail was very well-marked as I enjoyed the hike the whole way through. There was an abundance of scenic views at almost every ridge, switchback, and stop. Sun was out and we even got above the clouds to the north & northwest; that sight was spectacular! Tt stayed cool throughout almost the entire day, which translated into a comfortable, awesome hike! This was my favorite hike. Though it was long, it was still very fun and even Washington’s Monument by the peak offered some cool history!
