Summitted San Jacinto from the south side by taking the Devil’s Slide Trail that leads all the way to the summit. Sporadic snow past 8,500 ft. Microspikes were needed for the last 1,500 ft to the summit. Ice axe or crampons were not necessary but could be useful.
