Peak San Jacinto
Group N/A
Trailhead Marion Mountain Trail

The initial incline was a little tough but got a little easier as we continued the hike. The weather was a little cooler but warmed up as we reached the peak. It was really crowded that day. The landscape along the way was similar to San Bernardino peak. We took less breaks this time around and reached the peak at a decent time so it appears the training paid off. As we were about to head down after eating lunch, it started to hail. We were not prepared for this and hid under a rock to wait out the hail. It was a funny and memorable experience. Once the hail stopped, we headed down and the temperature warmed up quick. I was exhausted and my feet hurt as I reached the car. However, after hiking San Bernardino peak, it was really nice that this trail was shorter. The views along the way were amazing.
