This one was my second time to hike San Jacinto Peak for this year and my overall sixth time since 2014. Like the previous week’s hike to Baldy, this one was a four-person hike with the other three tackling San Jacinto for the first time. For this hike, I was joined by Karen and Angie and my cousin Gamy. Unlike the July hike to San Jacinto, there was no hail or rain, although there were times during the hike that it was cloudy. We kept a slow and steady pace. It took us a long time to reach the summit but we all did it. And for my cousin Gamy, it was his first time ever to bag a 10,000 ft peak in this case, 10,834 ft.
